Made in the UK from Cowhide, Low Chromium due to the unique agents used after tanning.

Hat Linings

Water Based Hat Stiffener:

Suitable for Felts, Straws, Papers & Sinamay - £7.50 per Litre or £35.00 for 5 Litres.

Sold concentrated & needs to be diluted 1 part stiffener to 4 parts water. If after stiffening it is still not as required, repeat process - do not change the stiffener to water ratio!

Allow the material to dry fully, then steam before blocking - especially to felts, as this drives the stiffener into the material instead of just layering the outside (as a milky residue).

Water based stiffener - 1L & 5L

Ruby, Primrose, Emerald, Turquoise, Navy & Black

Veiling:

Sold by 5 metre lengths or by the roll (50 to 59m), 30cm wide- Black, Navy, Turquoise, Emerald, Primrose and Ruby.

£5.50 for 5m length.

The Oasis Spray Colours can also be used to spray Veiling.

Cotton Covered Metal Wire:

Stainless Steel to prevent rust marks appearing over time.

Brimreed:

1.25mm Clear thermoplastic wire, £0.35 per m, £7.00 per 20m bundle or £210-230.00 per full roll (approx. 11kg).

1.5mm Clear thermoplastic wire, £0.50 per m, £10.00 per 20m bundle or £320-340.00 per full roll (approx. 11kg).

Ferrules:

Brass Ferrules (attachments for wires), save Milliners valuable time in stitching together the ends of cotton covered wire or plastic brimreed, if slightly loose, crimp with a pair of pliars.

No.52 - 1.25mm attachments - 1/2 Gross (72) - £4.50 or 10 Gross (1440) £85.00. (Fits 0.8mm cotton covered wire or 1.25mm Brimreed)
