We stock matching ribbon to most of our hat bodies; Fur felts, Wool felts, Sisals, Sinamays, Papers and Viscas.
All sizes are approximate measurements of natural loomstate stock, some may have shrunk during dying. All prices are GBP (£) & Ex-VAT.
The Gross Grain Petersham Ribbon stocked by Baxter Hart & Abraham is custom made specifically for the Millinery trade and dyed in Luton, UK.
It has all the attributes required for a Milliner to produce a masterpiece; with a light steaming and ironing, our ribbon will stretch, shrink and curve without creasing.
When dying our ribbons we abide by all rules & regulations imposed by the UK Government & E.U in regards, but not limited to; permitted chemicals used, enviromental damage, waste management etc.
Any ribbons woven in another method and/or made from the following materials will NOT have the same characteristics as a true Gross Grain Petersham Ribbon: Cotton, Nylon, Polyester or any ribbon with a latch thread.
We can offer custom dyes for orders over 900m, which can be split across different widths. Physical sample required.
